The FMC4SIMX183 is a 4 SONY IMX183 image sensors FMC daughter card which is electrically compliant with the VITA 57.1-2008 standard.
The FMC4SIMX183 card provides a development platform that enables customers to process their high resolution video content through our camera link HS development kit.
The design is based on 4 sony IMX183 sensors which can run at 4 x 20Mpixels @25fps or 4 x 4K@60fps.
IMX183 sensor use a high-sensitivity back-illuminated structure 2.4 µm square unit pixel with a proven record in products for security camera and industrial applications.
The optical size is Type 1 to enable use of a C-mount lens. In addition, these products are equipped with a variety of functions such as 4K video mode, a global reset function and a vertical arbitrary cropping function.
The FMC4SIMX183 also include a BOSCH BMX055 sensor.
The sensor BMX055 is a very small, 9-axis sensor, consisting of a triaxial 12-bit acceleration sensor, a triaxial 16-bit gyroscope and a triaxial geomagnetic sensor. The BMX055 allows accurate measurement of angular rate, acceleration and geomagnetic fields in 3 perpendicular axes within one device.
The BMX055 is very useful for industrial robot, aerial imaging, 3D-stereo or optical image stabilization.....
As machine vision and imaging technology become more advanced, attention is being paid to data outside the ordinary visible spectrum. The FMC4SIMX183 is perfectly adapted for multispectral applications.
The 4 SONY IMX183 sensors allow combination of up to 4 spectral Imaging bands.

This is a clear sign that the age of the 8K is upon us, nevertheless prices are not very attractive yet. The FMC4SIMX183 coupled with our Camera Link HS development kit allows development of 8K systems at a reasonnable price.
